THE MORDECHAI FACHLER PROGRAMME

Learning that Supports The Jewish Community’s Wellbeing

When our dear friend Rabbi Mordechai Fachler passed away, we lost of one of the community’s shining stars in the field of mental health; a loss we feel to this day. Our work perfectly aligns with the approach and values he exemplified and, thanks to our kind supporters and friends of Mordechai, we’re able to offer our life-changing practical education free of charge, proudly dedicated to his memory.

Learning That’s A Real Win-Win

The knowledge and skills that you learn are not just good for your wellbeing, they’re great for others’ too. If you spend meaningful time with friends, family, or colleagues every week, research shows that some of these people, though functioning normally on the outside, will be really struggling on the inside.

Our classes and webinars provide you with the confidence and tools needed to respond in an appropriate way. Your intervention can prevent things escalating and literally change lives.

The wellbeing landscape is darker than ever after Covid, the cost-of-living crisis, the terrible situation in Israel and the shocking rise in UK antisemitism.

Rising stress is a key driver of mental illness and the NHS is simply overwhelmed with record waiting times. Our work promoting wellbeing and enabling early mental health interventions has never been more needed.

We're very proud of our classes

Here are just some of the reasons we’re so proud of the classes we offer:

  • Rather than using generic ‘trainers’, our courses are delivered by our Clinical Director, Jonathan Dove (BSc, MA (Psychotherapy), Registered Member MBACP, Member EMDR UK) a leading and highly respected Mental Health professional with almost 30 years’ experience.
  • Project Lily is a Jewish charity, which means we are sensitive to the many religious and cultural issues that can impact on people’s daily lives.
  • As well as being filled with essential content, classes are engaging, interactive and consistently receive exceptional feedback from participants.
  • As well as training individuals, we can also provide courses for organisations. Such training is not ‘one size fits all’. Rather, we consult with each organisation to tailor each course to their needs.
I’ve taken part in many courses. The Project Lily mental health training stood head and shoulders above all of them. Its content and style of presentation were exactly what we needed – I can already see the impact of the training.
