Self-Care and Stress Management: 50 Minutes
This 50 minute (+ time for questions) course is delivered via Zoom. It looks at the crucial role of stress in mental health and teaches a range of simple and effective Self-Care techniques.
We’ll look at Behavioural, Physical, Social, Psychological, and Spiritual Self-Care including:
- Relaxation options
- Sleep Hygiene
- Positive Distraction
- Mindfulness
- and many more…
We also look at processing Trauma, and explore helpful and un-helpful interventions in processing trauma.
Note: This course provides a great overview of options that everyone can use to plan their self-care. However, if you want an experiential, practical session of relaxation, you may also enjoy our Stress-busting Practical Relaxation Exercises session.
